Old Timer of the Year
The winner of the Old Timer of The Year Contest will be presented with an award at the Old Timer of The Year Ceremony at the Lassen County Fair. This is a fair time tradition that people of all ages can come and enjoy! Come down to the fair office or download the form today. Don't miss an opportunity to recognize your special "Oldtimer!" Applications are due to the fair office May 23rd. 5:00 pm.

Grand Marshal
Every parade needs a Grand Marshal and the Lassen County parade is no different. Serving as Grand Marshal of the Lassen County Fair usually means a day of honors and celebrating. Its a day to bask in the limelight of a great honored tradition.
The Grand Marshal has traditionally been an outstanding member of the community. It is someone that has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Some of our past Grand Marshals served Lassen County in a variety of different ways. Each year it is an honor to recognize those who contribute to making Lassen County a great place to live.
If you know someone that you feel should be recognized as the Grand Marshal for 2008, please fill out a form and turn it in at the fair office by 5:00 pm May 23rd.

Little Mr., Little Miss Contest
The Little Mr and Little Miss contestants will participate in a playday before the fair where the winner is chosen for that year. For more details pick up a registration form in the fair office or download the form today!

Employee Appreciation Lunch (Formally Girl Friday)
The Lassen County Fair Board has changed the name of Girl Friday to encoumpass a larger audience of working employees in Lassen County! Aren't you glad you have that ONE person at work you can always count on at work? Why not recognize them at this year's annual Employee Appreciation Lunch on July 18, 2008. e along with payment. The Employee Appreciation Award is a time honored award recognizing those who are working hard "behind the scenes."

Parade
The Lassen County Fair Parade is Sponsored by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce. The parade is held on the Saturday of the fair and takes place on Main St. Please contact the

Derby
The Lassen County Fair is excited to announce it’s Destruction Derby. The Derby is scheduled for July 19, 2008 at 6:00 pm. If you are interested in entering the Derby Please download an entry form and a copy of the rules. The Derby is Sponsored by Diamond Mt. Casino and Lassen Beverage.

Come watch local cowboys and cowgirls compete in the annual Ranch Rodeo! Food and alcohol will be served by the Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen during the event.
